Students are recognized at the Annual Student Conference Awards Ceremony each year. Approximately 15 scholarships are presented annually. Questions? contact one-time award of $1,000 per student. While students admitted for science and engineering degrees are encouraged to apply for this scholarship, preference will be given to students admitted into chemical engineering degree programs.
Students are encouraged to choose classes leading to a degree in chemical engineering. Applicants shall be required to be high school graduates during the current academic year and be members of a minority group that is under-represented in chemical engineering, i.e., African-American, Hispanic, Native American, Alaskan Native, Pacific Islander.Īpplicants must plan to enroll during the current academic year in a four-year college or university offering a science/engineering degree.
